What is Journalytic?

Journalytic is an investment journaling tool that records your thoughts in high fidelity, gamifies your process to build better habits, easily tracks the consequences of your decisions, and reveals blindspots via meaningful feedback.

Journalytic started as a simple question. How could we use software to improve our own investment decision-making? We knew from combined decades of study there were plenty of pitfalls to trip us up. Luck and skill aren’t easily parsed. Yet many of the interventions and tools recommended by thought leaders were relatively simple: Keep a journal. Record your decisions and reasoning. Do pre- and post-mortems. Track opportunity cost. Use checklists. The irony was almost no one was doing it.

We set out on a mission to change that. We want to make it easy and fun to implement good investment hygiene. We hope you enjoy using Journalytic as much as we do.
