Idea Status

The idea status is used to document where your idea is at in your research process or it can be used to help organize your portfolio. Our current default status options are Currently Own,  In Research, Pass, Revisit, Sold, and Starter Position.

Idea Source

Idea sources are helpful to record and keep track of where your investment ideas are coming from and how well they go on to do. Which of your friends are providing you with the most fertile opportunities? The only way to find out is to start tracking them! Our current source default options are 13-F,  Friend, News Article, Social Media, and Stock Screener.

Price Chart

Each idea has a price chart with your journal entries displayed. As your journal history builds, you can start to look back and see what you were thinking at certain points in your journey of researching that idea. You can also select a Decisions view of the price chart and see all your recorded decisions overlaid. There is also an All Actions view to see your other journal actions displayed including Contracts, Predictions, Checklists, and Feelings.

Pinned Entry

You can pin any entry in the search results of an idea. The concept is similar to twitter’s pinned tweets. We hope you can use this to capture your most important thoughts related to each company and have them visible at the top of your journal each time you visit that idea. It could be your thesis, specific KPIs, predictions, or just your most recent thoughts to remind future you.

Tag Dashboard

Each tag has a dashboard where you can add some high level notes related to what that tag means to your process. You select the settings icon to change the color of the tag and drop in your notes that you want displayed.
